How we work

A process built around your project, not a formula.

Every project starts with a conversation. From there, the process is shaped around what you actually need — not a fixed sequence of deliverables, but a working relationship that stays responsive from the first sketch to the final detail.

Brief

We begin by listening. A project brief is not a form to fill in — it's a conversation about what you want to achieve, what constraints exist, and what you care about most. We take time here because everything that follows depends on it.

Concept

We develop a spatial concept — a clear design position that defines how the project will look, feel, and function. This is where we test ideas, explore materials, and make the arguments for every significant decision before committing to detail.

Delivery

Technical drawings, specifications, contractor coordination, on-site supervision. We stay involved through the build rather than handing off at the design stage. The quality of a finished space depends on decisions made during construction, not just on paper.

Handover

We don't disappear at practical completion. We document everything, resolve any outstanding items, and stay available for the questions that always arise in the first months of a new space being used. Handover is the start of a building's life, not the end of ours.
